How Can We Help?

Under the direction of the City Manager, the Parks & Recreation Supervisor directs the administration of all departmental programs, operations, and facilities. This department also directs the planning and implementation of a comprehensive program of tournaments, by establishing and maintaining relationships with national associations affiliated with sports to maximize scheduling of tournament opportunities at Joe Cowan Park.

In promoting departmental programs by making presentations to groups and maintaining communication with the media, our Parks & Recreation Department ensures adequate marketing of all services offered to citizens, visitors, and tourists.
